About the role

Logic Fire & Security – a market leader in the Fire & Security industry, is looking for a talented individual to join our Scheduling team. Your role is to ensure the planned maintenance, small jobs and emergency call outs are scheduled into the system and sent to the relevant engineers. In addition, you will be in direct contact with our customers, answering calls and dealing with any queries.

  • 39 hours per week Monday to Friday.
  • Annual leave entitlement: 21 days + bank holidays per annum, increasing by 1 day a year at commencement of new leave year, up to a maximum of 5 additional days. This is effective after completion of 1 years’ service.

Responsibilities

  • Assess scheduling priorities based on the works listed on the system.
  • Schedule works taking into consideration the location of other jobs booked for the day and the location and qualifications of the engineer.
  • Responding to emergency call outs ensuring that the related SLAs for attendance are adhered to.
  • Deal with any queries or issues that arise from the scheduled works and escalate to Management.
  • Give full details of the jobs to engineers as to what needs doing to ensure repeat visits are avoided.
  • Ensure customers are provided with all relevant information for the works to be completed.
  • Answer incoming calls from customers, dealing with their query or directing them to the correct department.
  • Completion of Excel spreadsheets.
  • Assist with cover of the reception desk, greeting tenants & visitors to the building and answering calls.
  • Complete calls via the Company System and ensure that the works are invoiced promptly.

Requirements

  • Confident and professional customer service skills, with prior experience in a busy office environment.
  • Fast and keen learner with positive attitude to take on new challenges.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced environment where you can work both independently and within a team.
  • Good computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
